Phoenix transformed six conservation shophouses in Singapore with
utmost care. The company’s ability to craft real value-added
enhancements has brought new F&B, retail and office opportunities
to this dynamic district of Singapore.
48–56 Peck Seah Street is a retail and commercial project which
comprises of 3 adjoining pairs of 2-storey conservation
shophouses, each with an attic. They enjoy excellent visibility
with a 33-meter frontage on Peck Seah Street. Built in 1900s, the
shophouses have been beautifully refurbished by Phoenix to
preserve their vintage charm and architectural heritage.
Strategically situated in the well-established Tanjong Pagar
Conservation Area, part of the prime Central Business District,
the shophouses enjoy convenient access via the Tanjong Pagar MRT
Station and major expressways. Ample car parks are located right
across the street from the shophouses.
With the government’s continued rejuvenation of Tanjong Pagar to
be ‘the next waterfront city,’ and the completion of a number of
large mixed-use developments in the immediate vicinity, Peck Seah
Shophouses are set to be the perfect location for new retail, F&B
& office tenants.
After completion of the acquisition, we performed refurbishment
works and secured 3 tenants for the entire space. Subsequently, we
sold the project to a foreign investor for long term investment in
2019.
