Phoenix saw the investment opportunity of providing
highly-demanded, premium serviced apartments within the major
commercial district in central Tokyo.
Phoenix acquired this 33-storey Grade-A rental apartment building
located in the thriving Shinagawa Central Business District, home
to many headquarters and branch offices of large Japanese and
multinational corporations. The property has direct access to
Shinagawa Station which provides rail services to Tokyo’s two
international airports, as well as bullet trains to Nagoya, Kyoto
and Osaka.
The building is converted into a contemporary serviced apartment
with 202 suites, ranging from 30 to 110 sq.m., and managed by
globally-recognized Oakwood Worldwide, to cater for the needs of
both the continually growing business community and demanding
international travellers.
After significant project and asset enhancement works, Phoenix
successfully sold the property to a consortium of foreign
investors in 2019.
