Phoenix saw the opportunity of redevelopment, Grand Mansion was bought from Zurich Insurance during 2012-2014 when they sold the property under pressure.
Formerly know as The Zurich Insurance Building, Grand Mansion is a 13-level office building (and 43 car parking spaces) of 4,970 ping (16,438 sq.m.), located in CBD Taipei at No 56, Dun Hua North Road. The existing site area is of 626 ping (2,070 sq.m.). It is situated across from the Taipei Arena, an internationally well-known multi-purpose stadium.

Initially, Phoenix acquired part of the asset, planning to assemble the remaining floors and unlock the redevelopment potential when the building age reached 30 years to be eligible for a marketing floor area expansion. Later, a renowned local developer showed interest in the site for redevelopment purposes. Partnering with the developer, we successfully obtained government approval for an increase of 43% of marketing floor area upon redevelopment. In recent months, the design plan for the new residential building was approved by the Urban Planning Review Committe, and is now undergoing construction work.
